This one isn't mine but I have one with no perforations. It's hinged (mounted, not licked to) to the album still. But looks mint never used.
Thanks
Nick

You would have to check your paper type.

Russia #68c(1902) is on vertical laid paper.

Your stamp is more likely to be the common Russia #131(1917), which is on wove paper and valued at 20c for both mint and used.

There is also a minor color difference, but it is usually better/easier to check the paper type.

The reverse of the stamp design should show vertical striations on laid paper.

Wove paper is uniformly smooth (or in some cases with a uniform texture).

Oops, sorry Nick. Didn't mean to get your hopes up. Didn't look far enough into the listings.
My bad.

Don't worry, James, I've done that a few times myself!

Regarding the paper, hold the stamp up to a light bulb and view through the stamp from the backside. As Smauggie noted, for vertical laid paper you should see some vertical parallel "white" lines representing lines of paper "thins" caused by the wires used to produce the paper. For wove paper, you should see an array of "white" dots instead of lines.

Apparently, a new thread has been started regarding this stamp. The stamp pic and final conclusion is in the new thread.

Here is an example of rather strong laid lines

on the first 2 Chuckram stamp of Travancore state in India, from 1888. You can clearly see the parallel laid lines in the paper. (And also a splendid example of a rust spot ...)
