Your heading Endangered species is rather misleading, as these animals are not regarded as being endangered. These stamps were the 1st issue of a new definitive series of Australian wildlife. An earlier issue of stamps in 1992 highlighted Threatened species, consisting of the Parma wallaby, the Ghost bat, the Long-tailed dunnart, the Little pygmy-possum, the Dusky hopping mouse and the Squirrel glider. |
