The ever-popular European red squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris) makes another appearance on this thread. This time it is seen on a British computer-vended ("post and go") stamp in its winter coat (long ear tufts).

Here is Ireland's red squirrel computer-vended stamp of 2010. Ireland used a photographic image rather than the U.K.'s graphic design approach.

A water mongoose (Atilax paludinosusis) is shown on this Botswana stamp. The water mongoose lives near streams and rivers throughout sub-saharan Africa. It feeds on crabs, prawns, fish, and frogs.

Gaborone Village is an old neighborhood in the southeastern section of the capital of Gaborone, Botswana.

A photographic image of a European, or Eurasian badger (Meles meles) is shown on this 2014 computer -vended stamp from Ireland's 5th series of "Irish animals and marine life".

Although this animal is classified as a carnivore, it eats roots and other vegetation as well.
