A water mongoose (Atilax paludinosusis) is shown on this Botswana stamp. The water mongoose lives near streams and rivers throughout sub-saharan Africa. It feeds on crabs, prawns, fish, and frogs. Gaborone Village is an old neighborhood in the southeastern section of the capital of Gaborone, Botswana.  |
