Ok, not as cute as many of the other dogs here, and certainly no where near my buddy, Max, but here's Ireland's Dog from Ancient Brooch, County Kilkenny.

As you can see my avatar is a dog stamp. Although it has
meaning to me, it is far from being a favorite stamp. Like
many of you I have many stamps with all kinds of dogs on
them, not one of them has a likeness of my dog. It wasn't
until I came across this Lesotho Sc 1173 that I found
"my dog"! Too bad it is poorly designed.

Kosmo is pretty much my constant companion. He goes to work
every day and he sleeps close by at night while I work on
the stamp collection. It's just nice to know there is at
least one stamp out there with his breed on it.
