Blind basket maker and guide dog, semi-postal (charity) stamp designed by Finnish artist Olavi Vepsäläinen (1927-1993), combined engraved by Birger Ekholm and typography (Red Cross), and issued by Finland on March 8, 1954 as one of a set of three stamps benefiting the Red Cross, Scott No. B125, Facit No. 428.

Here is an image of a stamp depicting a border guard and a German Shepherd (Alsatian), designed by Czech graphic artist Zdenek Brdlík (1929-1983), engraved by Jan Mrácek, and issued by Czechoslovakia as one of a set of two stamps honoring the Frontier Guard, Scott No. 762.

Here is an image of an airmail stamp depicting dogs, a village, and an airplane, designed and engraved by French artist and engraver Charles Mazelin (1882-1964), and issued for use in Saint Pierre & Miquelon on November 4, 1957, Scott No. C21.

I don't know who was the engraver.

This is the original painting as seen in a German cinderella (1913) :



And here we see it on a banknote (Union Bank of Tennessee 1862) printed by American Bank Note Co. and engraved by Henry S. Beckwith (1809-1895) :

Here is an image of a stamp depicting two children baking ginger snaps while being closely watched by a very interested canine companion, designed by Norwegian artist and engraver Knut Løkke-Sørensen (1931- ), printed by lithography, and issued by Norway on November 12, 1987 as one of a set of two Christmas booklet stamps, Scott No. 921, Facit No. 1023.
