I prefer stamps with a historical aspect to 'modern' ones, but it seems a bit boring -- nothing really new here, is there?
And I don't like the coins, nor the fact, she's facing the 'wrong' way.

She's still looking pretty young, even after 60 years. Hasn't she had her picture taken recently? |

She has served her country exceedingly well, she has adapted, she has suffered family problems like the rest of us. She gets a big tick for mine.

Speaking only for myself and as a citizen of the US, I truly admire Queen Elizabeth. I think she has done a magnificent job for Britain in her years on the throne. Through the ups and downs, she seems to be a rock, never flinching and always projecting strength and stability.
From a stamp collecting point of view, I thoroughly enjoy the Machins and have a good number of them. (Also the Wildings)
I am also with KirkS. I don't particularly like the sovenir sheet. It seems to lack a certain pizazz. |

I'm not sure what this sheet is trying to promote! Most of the stamp appear to reproduce images from coins and banknotes, and these are laid out incongruously. It would have been better if just images used on stamps appeared. The stamps, when used will make some nice covers, but the sheet desing could have been much better. |

I agree 100% The minisheet could have been done a lot better, but then almost anything can always be done better. I agree that the images of coins on stamps don't look right (they face right, but don't look it ). Still, better than none at all, I guess |

I think the purpose is to show the different profiles used on stamps, coins and paper money during her reign.
Perhaps some nice stamps will be issued for the jubilee! |

The Jubilee has now come and gone; how her Magesty could possibly have taken all the strain of the weekend was amazing. I watched as she stood for 4 hours with Prince Philip reviewing down the Thames in horrendous weather ,as usual. She has my vote. |
