And how about something a little interesting....

The 'White 4" variety is listed in the SG Queen Victoria Specialized catalougue not the 4 Kings, but here are two copies of the same variety on KEVII 4d Jubilee's:









A friend brought to my attention a brief blurb about this in the April 2008 Catalogue Column- Gibbons Stamp Monthly. All it says is that this flaw is listed for the QV Jubilee but not for the KEVII. Anyone with information out there?

I agree with your assessment of the 7d. It looks especially nice in blocks.

As for the "white 4" it looks like you have two different versions. In the BL corner of the second stamp, the remnants are along the horizontal bar, while in the first stamp, the BL corner has the remnants along the "hypotenuse" (for lack of a better word).

Either there are a couple ways to get to the variety, or it doesn't repeat in the typical sense. Or my logic is faulty.
