I believe the Bulgarias are intended to be different stamps, in different colors, in the same series. I suppose I should verify that with a catalogue, but I believe it to be true. I'll give you the USA airmail revalue, though. The 20c was issued November, 1968 and the design was reused in May, 1971, for the 21c issue. Close enough for me. |

Before we throw 'bus under the bus, keep in mind the charge from the first page... Quote: we should clarify. Exactly the same stamps. You gotta admit, the font/type style did change from the 20c to the 21c. (I still think it is interesting to see the reuse of the earlier design. Rules are made to be broken.) |

Back in the grove.. Cjd, these threads are like marriages. Once a while one has to do a different step to the same music. Like, one, two, three and Beethoven! |

From page 2: Quote: The third and fifth sets of stamps shown on this page are of different colors (either the color of the stamp or the color of the denomination), so as referred to earlier, the color variations would not qualify.
So the USA airmails don't count, nor the lovely Bulgarians. Sorry. All good fun though isn't it. Isn't it ? HTMbus1 |

It seems that fifia is playing a little......Lucy-goosey with her own rules. |

My friends, how about these stamps? One belongs into a set, one is a single stamp. Puzzler, thanks for the Snoopy stamp. The stamp would go into the crazy shaped stamp thread.... I may have to quit this fifia-lucy thing...do not want to get in trouble with copy rights.... |

Peace on Earth, good will to men. I think the issue here, beyond the lovely Snoopy stamps and the Lucy images, is that the thread topic says one thing and I am getting confused about what stamps you mean because what stamp goes where keeps changing around. 'Same stamp - different vale' I know you started off really well, but perhaps you were having fun and didn't notice the drift of topic that happened after a while. At times it may be best to do a search on Stamp Community and find a thread that is already started and add your stamps to it. Other times, it is best to start your own thread. And threads do wander off and go their own ways at times too. People are human, even me, although my expiry date is well past due. I think I know where you are, as I go there a lot myself and really enjoy stamps and the different history and topics and if I have something to share I am happy. |
