I imagine I am in my second childhood now..its not bad ! I remember sending away for my first stamp offer.."500 stamps for a dime " how could you resist ?? Well eventually I received a bag of stamps in the mail...all on paper and mostly a little stamp from Belgium with a ship on it...i have never liked that stamp since..but included was a return envelope with some stamps for my approval..colorful and exciting stamps from French colonies...what a contrast to the dull stamps I received for my dime ! I paid my 3 cents for the rifle stamp guy and I still see him in mixtures from time to time !!

Bingo!
that one along with some of the rhinocerous stamps
were the first I ever stuck in an album,
I thought these stamps were fascinating...

I was horrified when trying to move them, I left
a chunk of stamp on the page.

That was the beginning of my hatred dislike of gum.
