I generally try not to flyspeck, but I do enjoy finding the odd flaw. So give me your opinion on this one.
These German stamps from 1923 are pretty worthless, especially unused. This one is unused with no gum.
But the value printed at the bottom has shifted up far enough that it's sitting on top of the panel it was supposed to be inside of. I know bad registration happens, and things move. It's been suggested to me that this shift may add some value.
I'm leery. What do you folks think?

It might be interesting to note that it doesn't appear the upper value - 50 MILLIONEN - has shifted at all.

Shifts on the inflation stamps are extremely common. For minor shifts, there's no real premium. Michel does state that distinct shifts of at least 3mm justify a 5 (Mint) to 10-20 Euro (Used) increase in value.
