Hi guys

I was looking at a few of my mint stamps and noticed this 1942-1943 "AIR POST SPECIAL DELIVERY STAMPS".

1 - Look at the first picture, that is what we look at.

2 - Now look at picture 2 and you will see a smoke stack on the ground
that is covering up the plane's air stream emission. The stack
should be hidden behind the air stream.

3 - Look at the plane's cockpit...Only one set of windows. How can
he/she see out the front right of the plane.

Makes you think....eh?

Wert - I have to give it to you for attention to details. One of my favorite air mails and never looked hard enough to notice the smoke stack. Then again you've posted alot of interesting annomolies . Keep up the good work , theres new discoveries made all the time and I'm sure with your attention you won't miss much.

Thanks nitrolures for the comment.
Just one of my loves (stamp loves that is).
Just like people to look at stamps in a new light.

Wert or should I call you Hawkeye there is such a thing
as artistic license and in this and many other stamp images
the designer and/or the engraver have made full use of it.

lithograving...Thank you....So you think that they do these sort of things on purpose...???

P.S. - If we start calling all the people on the forum with nicknames like they do in the Canadian Air Force, well, that will be mine (ha,ha)
