Here is an image of a semi-postal (charity) stamp depicting a tree with both healthy, leafy branches, and unhealthy, withered branches, designed by Danish artist Claus Achton Friis (1917-1999), engraved by Arne Kühlmann (1939- ), and issued by Denmark on September 10, 1981 to publicize the United Nations' International Year of Disabled Persons (IYDP), Scott No. B61, Facit No. 765. Bonus: Tree.

Here is an image of a stamp depicting a figure in a wheelchair, printed by photogravure, and issued by Liechtenstein on June 9, 1981 to commemorate the International Year of Disabled Persons, Scott No. 712.

Disabled Athletics World Championships

The IPC Athletics World Championships is an event organized by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC). Athletes with a physical disability, and in a few events athletes with an intellectual disability, compete. The 3rd World Championship took place in Lille, France on 20 - 28 of July 2002.
