Got my hands on a very reasonable O11 today. Mint with a hinge remnant.

That leaves me with just O9, 10 and 25 to go. There are some out there, but my budget is a little stretched

Grats on a great find!

The 'OHMS' overprints, 'OHMS' perfins (x2 sets?), and 'G' overprints are an overpriced pain in my @$$ side. It's hard to fathom how these non-classic era stamps got so expensive!

Nevertheless, I continue my own quest to finish these as well. I wish you luck!

You are definitely right on them being overpriced. It's just nuts.

How come the overprint isn't bilingual? Because it somehow relates to the crown?

The beginning of bilingualism in Canada 'Officially' is from the Constitution Act of 1982.

Before that there is a history of different personal and official bilingualism from the first colony days depending on where you lived.
