New GB miniature sheet commemorating ther opening of the Stockton & Darlington Railway:  This line is still open to freight and passengers today as part of the UK's national network. Parts of the route have been changed and improved over the decades, but of the 26 miles of the line, about 20 are still along the original formation, including Skerne Bridge, the oldest railway bridge in use anywhere in the world. |
