My 'mailman' is blonde, about 20 years old and has great legs.
Yes she is a girl.
I know this is nothing to do with the original message, just wanted to make someone jealous.

Here is an image of an engraved special delivery stamp depicting a native courier, issued by Mexico in 1934, Scott No. E3, SG No. E3. Note: Scott describes this stamp's design as "Messenger with Quipu," but I believe that is incorrect as quipus (or khipus), sometimes called talking knots, were recording devices historically used in the region of Andean South America, but evidently were not used in the region of North America comprising modern Mexico.

Here is an image of an airmail stamp depicting a stamp of 1859, a mailman, and a portrait of José Ignacio Paz Castillo, engraved and printed by Bundesdruckerei, Berlin, and issued by Venezuela on September 15, 1959 to commemorate the centenary of Venezuelan postage stamps, Scott No. C706. I don't know why the centenary dates on the stamp are 1858-1958!
