Ireland began its "Wild Flowers of Ireland" definitive series in 2004. On July 22, 2010 An Post issued a set of 4 computer-vended "SOAR" (stamps on a roll) stamps for this series. This stamp from Thailand's joint issue with the Maldives released on June 21, 2019, depicts the golden shower ( Cassia fistula). It is both the national tree and national flower of Thailand. It is a popular ornamental plant and is also used in herbal medicine.   |
