Hello, Here is another British Guiana stamp I got recently.It has a nicely centered Kitty cancel. I couldn't find out anything about Kitty other than it is a suburb of Georgetown.Does anyone know anything about Kitty? Thanks david
Kitty was a village near Georgetown, and the end of a mile-and-a-half long seawall completed in 1882 to protect Georgetown from the ocean. Kitty has since been absorbed into Georgetown.
