Year of the Dragon 2012 - Hong Kong Souvenir sheet. The scan doesn't do this stamp justice. The dragon is outlined in embossed gold ink. |

Spectacular dragons, love the 'water dragons stamp, that art style certainly suits the subject. |

Perhaps I should add this Czech coat of arms (previously seen on that other thread). See if you can spot the dragon (shouldn't be too hard). |

Hi Leng, BAYERN1kreuzer, and jamesw. Nice stamps, dragons are everywhere :) That's a gruesome story about Siegfried killing the dragon of Drachenfels and then bathing in its blood. Great stuff. I'm getting a lot of stamps from ebay at the moment, I am collecting 2012 CNY Dragon stamps in particular. More to arrive soon. |

Year of the Dragon 2012 - China Some people think this dragon is too fierce. I think it is a great stamp. |

Happy St George's Day to fellow Brits. I have been overseas for about 6 years now. I don't know about dragons, but I could definitely attack a good Sunday roast (with combination of mashed and roast spuds, peas, carrots and stuffing - and some decent gravy). No roast dinners here. It has been so long, I am starting to hallucinate.
Anyway, there are several dragons of St George in the topic already, anyone have any more on this special dragon day? |

Nice one Cursus, I didn't know Catalonia celebrated Sant Jordi on this day also! I extend my greetings to Catalonians as well as Brits :) |

I've been away too long. I suppose it is only English people celebrating today. Other Brits, as you were. |
