Hi all, great to see the dragons still arriving! I've been away for a few weeks for the birth of our baby - born in the year of the Dragon

I have a couple of dragons to add:

Souvenir sheet on cover from Croatia, 2012 Year of the Dragon issue (stamps first posted by miawanis, p10):

And new dragons for the topic, Year of the Dragon issue from Indonesia:

Congratulations sci67!

I think the Indonesia stamps are very nice also. Nice postal etiquette too.

Congratulations scifi7! Nice to see you back again. I also like the Indonesian dragons, a different style to many of the others.

Puzzler, Akeela, Nethryk - thanks! She has changed our lives, in the very best way.

The Croatian and Indonesian covers are from regular exchange friends, who always put a lot of effort into making beautiful covers. I think they cancel the covers themselves. Great to have a friendly P.O. like that.

Here is an image of an engraved stamp depicting dragons, designed after a painting by Japanese painter Hashimoto Gaho (1835-1908), and issued by Japan on November 1, 1971, Scott No. 1098.
