Wonderful item and beautiful dragons, BAYERN1kreuzer. Receiving postmarks too.

Thanks Puzzler, lithograving posted this stamp too, but it's great to read the background and see the statue.

Thanks miawanis, three more 2012 dragons, the colleciton is growing! I need to list the countries we have so far.

^ No problem at all Puzzler, you gave us some good background info and a great photo :) Weaponized donkeys, as Cjd said, seemed to be a favourite tactic in those days.

That is nice, the heraldic dragon. Kind of looks like it is missing a limb or two somehow though.

Thanks Fifia, I knew you could find more dragons :) I know what you mean Puzzler. I have seen some dragons depicted with forelegs, but with a body dwindling down to a tail. All part of the mythology I suppose.

I don't have this, saw it on ebay in GB. The cover for the year pack Macau 1988 looks stunning. Wish I had the funds to get it.

Fifia: that's my favorite one, from Wales. I have one somewhere here. It is embossed out a bit. I have seen (on ebay) some of these with a personalized label attached also, so I think Royal Mail know they have a winner there.

Bayern: Nice to see. I wouldn't know a forgery myself. Very involved stamps.
