I was looking through my envelope of Canada 1903 King Edward VII (Scott#90) stamps when this rough specimen caught my eye. Given the mangled condition of the top edge is this the regular issue or a booklet pane single (Scott#90b)? No I'm not going to throw it away. It would be like kicking out the family pet.

I think I see the remnants of perfs on the right half of the top edge.

Very common issue, standard value of a few cents. Keep an eye open for re-entries although I don't see the standard re-entry on the '2'. And I think that issue may be one that should be checked for stitch watermarks but not 100% sure from memory.

Defintely was perfed at top and not a straight edge booklet variety.

The higher values of that set are worth quite a bit.

Definately not a booklet single. This is a rough copy of a stamp from a regular sheet.

I can find no list (mote to self - maybe someone should start a topic on that) but this King Edward VII period has the first experimentation with coil stamps by Canada.

Thanks Puzzler,
I have Unitrade catalogue, just have to find it.
I've mounted most of my Canadian
but have 3 or 4 Hagners of Coils left
and seek to hinge in some order.
Was hoping there was an excel list or similar around.

Hi

The Unitrade Specialized Canadian Catalogue lists all booklet stamps.
They are usually listed in sub numbers for any given stamps that were issued in booklet form.
