Republic of China. The top two were issued 1946. The plain is SC#C53. The one with the surcharge is C61. The others were issued earlier, the base stamp depending on perforation and watermark, in 1932-37 or 1940-41. But of course the surcharges have issue dates of their own, 1946. The bottom left, with the crosses over the old denomination are SC#C54 (with watermark 261) or SC#C55 (unwatermarked) The other five are, clockwise from top left: C46 (wmk 261) or C51 (unwmk) c41 (unwk perf14), C44 (wmk261) or C49 (unwmk. perf 13, 13x12, 13x12.5,12.5) C42 (unwk perf14), C45 (wmk261) or C50 (unwmk. perf 13, 13x12, 13x12.5,12.5) C43 (wmk261) or C48 (unwmk. perf 13, 13x12, 13x12.5,12.5) C47 (wmk261) or C52 (unwmk. perf 13, 13x12, 13x12.5,12.5)
I think I got that right. Anyway, check the BOB of Republic of China, that's where you'll find all this. |
