Equatorial Guinea is one of those countries that is overlooked/ignored by most serious collectors due to the significant amount of "wallpaper" it issued in the 70s and 80s

My interest in Equatorial Guinea stemmed from a complete UNC collection of its Banknotes that I managed to put together over a number of years

Once I had completed the Banknote collection I then looked at other areas and in particular its stamps and decided to concentrate on postally used covers and the first several stamps issues before the "wallpapering" started

I have managed to put together a rather nice little collection based on the first issue of three stamps. As such thought I might share it with you before I start trying to formally write it up

Hope you find it enjoyable

Postcard (to start with)

The First Issue of Stamps (SG 1-3 and Scott 1-3)

Some FDCs

First Flight Cover

Postally Used Covers

My next project for Equatorial Guinea is to put together similar collections based on other stamp issues (have a few under way but still along way to go) and also expand on this one

Neat collection! It is nice to see something from Equatorial Guinea other than wallpaper!

Does anyone know anything about these stamps enabled? A friend says that on one occasion he saw a business letter stamped with these stamps, I never saw letters with these stamps and I always heard that it was a fantasy

It's a private overprint.
I never saw it on cover, but why not?
It may look more genuine when damaged

( not mine )
