Thanks for posting Leng! Glad you received it ok. One week TH > SG is ok I think. I don't have any cover exchange partners in TH, so I only really see my mint stamps. Great to see these stamps going through the postal system.

Issue 962 - H.M. The King, Teacher for the Land FDC

Date of issue: 16th January 2012

Today I managed to get the FDC for this issue:



And the details of the issue on the back:




The issue is described as follows:

Quote:
To glorify His Majesty the King on the occasion that His Majesty was conferred the title "H.M. the King, Teacher for the Land".
Depicting a portrait of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej while giving a royal speech concerning water management in Thailand to the audience of well-wishers on the occasion of the Royal Birthday Anniversary at the Dusidalai Hall, Chitralada Villa, Dusit Palace, on Monday 4th December 1995.

Issue 964 - Caishenye FDC

Date of issue: 23rd January 2012 - Chinese New Year

Issue 963 - National Children's Day 2012

Date of issue: 14th January 2012

Here are the stamps for this issue, which depicts scenes from the folktale "Inao" (originally from Java). The story is a tale of unrequited love, which leads to war, before the central characters finally fall happily in love.

Inao's dagger flashing




Bussaba consults the candle




Joraka falling passionately in love with Bussaba




Inao disguising himself as a forest bandit named Misara Panyi

Four Kings cover
Issue 971 - 99th Anniversary of the Government Savings Bank
Date of issue: 1st April 2012
The 4 Kings are (L to R) Rama VI, Rama VII, Rama VIII, & Rama IX the current King.

You're welcome, our_elephant. Your elephant collection is amazing! So far for this year there is only one upcoming elephant in Thai issues. I will post it here. I hope there are more in the second half of the year. Thai issues are still very erratic after the floods at the start of the year. A lot of delays.

Wow, our_elephant, what have you got there? I don't recognise those stamps at all. I can't see them in this year's schedule. Is there a date on them? They do look great!
