in the myth, do you have a preference for either one (i.e., 403 or 404)?

Dear stallzer,
I need the pound green seahorse to complete my set, can you advise me as to where I might get one for a reasonable price?

Dear Cjd,
No I do not, my album just has the one space and I would be happy to fill it with either.

The one thing I've learned about stamps Nigel is that any 1£ Stamp is very expensive, unless of course I own it. If I own it, the value is .20¢.

The seller is a bit optimistic about the centering...it is not only a bit low.

I'm not going to say something silly like, "it's a spacefiller" but the BIN price looks a little steep for this example.

Not necessarily my friend! I have the same prob as Stallzer, the high value ones that I did have in my collection were terrible, so I picked up these and am more than content for the time being! I grabbed these up froma SCF Auction a while back. Probably from Londonbus1 IIRC, he seems to have a good line on this stuff.

A bit better than staring at a blank space,

Skilo54

A bit better ? In my world, all three of those are gorgeous, simply stunning !! I must agree with most that the PUC is definitely one of the best all time designs.

I Couldn't agree more man, I have a goal to try and get myself one of them in the upcoming year. First up for me though is a new car, the 5 point buck I smoked on halloween gave my truck a pretty good rattle and things have been a little touch and go since then!

The PUC reprints that are available on ebay are really quite nice too, a good option for folks! I picked up a block of 4 last year and was really happy when they arrived!

Bummer about the Buck :( being a Minnesotan I more than understand the risks of the forest denizens popping out in the middle of nowhere and twisting up a grill and quarter panel. I think I'm with you on grabbing the reprints as they are just as visually stunning and I'd love to find a block like the one you grabbed...great piece !

These blocks can still be had from Royal mail at original cost. If anyone wants one, don't buy at ebay where the price will be higher.
Just holler.

LOndonbus1...Happy Skilo likes his purchases !

skilo 54,
I really do not wish to sound like a braggart, but I have the other two you show. The genuine ones! They are fakes are they not? I agree that a blank page is unsatisfactory, I would only view fakes as a temporary substitute though. Am I being unreasonable now?

They are not fakes, they are reprints.
