What stamp design was issued by both Canada and the USA at the same time. This was the first time the USA combined efforts on a stamp with another country.

What about the 1976 issue honouring Ben Franklin as the first PMG of all the British Colonies; and the 200th anniversary of American Independence. It was issued in the same design in Canada and the United States.

Lets try this one...The earliest US Joint Issue was the 1959 US- Canada St. Lawrence Seaway commemorative.

MKfarm were you the person looking for the St. Lawrence stamp of 1959 ? I checked my albums and I have a used copy and a unused but hinged copy..sorry no mnh as yet !
