For this lot, I wound up top bidder at $26.54 plus $2.25 postage.

Supposed to be 249 to 256 and 262 as MNH and others Mint, LH.

I think I did well, but I often fool myself.

Does anyone else have any thoughts?

centerstage, looks like a pretty good deal. set, in Mint, VF quoted at 200$, add 50% for those NH you have a value approx 250$ so you paid 10% of catalogue, which in my book is a good deal for mi 1940's stamps

Thanks, Gilles ...

I also just won Canada Diamond Jubilee - 51, 52, 53 - MNH, VF for about $33 ... It looks good to me, but again, I am only the occasional bidder. I usually just buy straight from dealers (and usually pay more than cat. price .. lol)

33$ for 51-52-53 MNH-VF is an excellent deal if they are truly that. Good centering, perfect gum, no short perforations or stains.

Thanks for the feedback. All were from ebay. Some were from nystamps, which I have seen noted here before. I will need to check the others.

I have bought from nystamps a few time and the stamps were flawless. Good seller.
