On February 12, 1999 Japan issued this horizontally-arranged, se-tenant pair of phalaenopsis orchid stamps (Sc #Z272a) for Tokyo prefecture. In addition to the sheet stamps shown here, stamps were sold in booklets of ten (2 x 5) with straight edges on left, right, and bottom of pane.  |
