On February 8, 1993 Finland and Estonia each released a joint issue stamp booklet on the theme of "Friendship." The stamps of both booklets are of very similar design. While Estonia's booklet has a pane of 6 stamps, Finland's has a pane of 5 stamps plus a "heart" label. This bilingual label says "happy Valentine's Day" in Finnish, and "have a good day" in Swedish.

The 50 ct value (Sc. #394) of Lithuania's 1991 "50th Anniversary of Resistance to Occupation" set of 3 triangular stamps depicts a heart pierced by swords. This first day cover has been re-used as a registered airmail letter almost 12 years after issue.

This February 8, 2018 stamp of Ireland features what appears to a Lino printing of a heart. It is the 12th annual (consecutive) issue in the country's "Love and Marriage" series.

This February 14, 2000 St. Valentine's Day stamp (Facit #1381) of Norway features a one-eyed, blue, envelope heart.
