New Flemish/Walloon Legion Pickups

Got a nice surprise in the mail today. Two new items for my German Foreign Volunteer Legion collection.

The first is a Walloon Legion sheet with printing error -- the red is missing (shown with a non-error sheet).



The second is a rare one from the Flemish Legion. The first Flemish Legion issues can be found perf and imperf. The imperf variety of the blue issue is usually found with large numerals in the value, but a rare variety exists with smaller numbers (carries about a 20x premium).



I managed to pick one up at auction.



I'm slowly getting closer to filling the last few holes...

i often wonder what happened to the Walloon and Flemish volunteers who wanted to impress Hitler so much...i just saw on the military channel ...as soon as Belgium was liberated the Belgian resistance remembered them and their relatives !!
