It has been a while since I've "shopped" for kiloware. Several years, actually. I got a little distressed because finding stamps on paper is getting so much harder, since less stamped mail is in circulation, these days. Sign of the times... ::: sigh :::
So, I was perusing ebay, as I often do... and realized something, suddenly. The "penny dropped," so to speak.
Maybe this is not "new news" to anyone.
If you go to the main ebay site and search for "kiloware," you currently come up with about 700 results, scattered through different categories.
The I discovered this: If you go to ebay GERMANY, not only are there almost 1500 listings for kiloware, but "kiloware" is actually its own category, in the stamp section.
Just thought I'd share that, for those who might not have noticed this...
ebay is good but sometimes the postage will kill you.. especially from Europe. I have bought kiloware from time to time from this missionary organization. They seem to be ok.
I'm a Ham Radio Operator when I get a QSL card (thats a post card to confirm radio contact) It always comes in an envelope when mailed from a foreign country.I save the stamps. Contact your local Radio club and ask the members to save you these stamps. K4YYY
