I have searched for this Turkish stamp in Scott but I'm unable to locate it. I know it was issued during the Ottoman Empire reign. Any more info would be greatly appreciated...Thnx

Try East Rumelia (present Bulgaria) Unfortunately my Scott isnt' handy now soI don't know the cat. number.

It appears to be Eastern Rumelia Scott #15, issued in 1884.

My old SG list it as issued in 1881 and # 7

I'd have to agree with BeeSee, Cursus, it looks like Scott #15 to me..I wish it was #7, but I don't think so..Thnx Ajnabii, Cursus, and BeeSee for your info..I appreciate it....

Well I was using Scott, Cursus was using SG. Maybe Scot 15 is SG 7?

It's SG 11 if perf 11˝ or SG 11a if perf 13˝.

Perhaps you're right, BeeSee..I've never used a Gibbons only a Scott..The only way to know for sure if you have both Scott and SB, and then compare the two...Thnx Nigel..I'll check that out....
