Although this looks like the Baltic coast, it is actually the beach at Lake Arendsee in landlocked Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Lake Arendsee is the largest natural lake in Saxony-Anhalt, and it is 60 meters deep in some parts. This advertising label from 1934 is nicely embossed and die cut.  |
