Like the header states, I just received a big stockbook chock full of older World Wide stuff. There is some beautiful stuff in there but I only chose a few just to showcase the first 3 pages...I have a ton of sorting to do yet however there are lots of sets and these are from a few of them and also just tossed in a few singles that appealed to me. Any info would be just wonderful! Thank you for taking a look. I may be selling some of this stuff but am really unsure yet. ok here is the stuff I was talking about!
Is there anything here I should maybe take a closer look at?

Here are some close-ups:

Here is a full page. Really difficult to scan these type of stock books as the binding is actually bound leather. I have piles of this stuff and maybe there is gem hiding in there someplace? At any pace there will certainly be a load of wonderful history! OK enough chatter from me now!

It looks like an amazing acquisition, where did you get it and was it a bargain?
How many pages has the stock-book?

Last scan next to last row, there is a stamp from France in 1929 (Scott #255 blue & rose red) for the Centenary of the first french settlement in Algeria. Value used is $0.25 in Scott 2007. I noticed the slogan cancel word "arrondissement" that means "borough". I will try to find what could be the complete slogan. Overall, if not valuable, it's a very interesting classical stamps collection.

I just posted remarks on that 'other' thread. As I thought, though. Nice selection. Keep 'em coming.

Also, if you must know I paid £5.50 but actually cost the seller £12.00 to ship it here.

For $28.00 it's a very fun purchase and now that the hook is firmly set, time to start building the Commonwealth countries collection :)

Luckily I didn't pay shipping Stallzer. Free shipping on that item. Thank you though I am happy but just wish I knew more- heck-ANYTHING at all about World Wide stamps! I think I may pick one country out of it all to focus on but the rest I'll sell off to help pay for the banknotes I need.

Do you think that would any interest in these on the forum if I was to maybe sell them off in lots on the auction section? I guess I'm asking if anyone collects any of these countries? Also, anything there worth a second look or are all pretty common stuff?
That's what I should asked probably right from the start.

Thank you.

Only 2 more of the older stuff then the rest is mostly '50's, 60's & 70's stuff so I won't bother posting them. They just don't have that pizazz to them as the earlier ones do.

Nice, Jay, thanks for showing more. I've always liked a lot of the French colonial stamps. Beautifully designed.
And if I'm not mistaken these guys...

... are from a 1920 set from Ukraine which were prepared but never used. I'm sure some of our experts can confirm or deny.

Well played.
