Aussie time 5pm my USA ebay store auction was to begin but the whole of ebay's system failed so I could not see anything.

No for sales. No sold items. No unsold items for over 3 hrs.

When it came back on the unsold items also had sold items mixed in with them.

The sold items are still mixed in with unsold item area and that is 17hrs ago. And I have 3 sold items that have disappeared but I know this through my emails.

How many people have relisted sold items? I really think this is going to be a big problem for many people.

My unsold history has only yesterdays items in it. I have lost many items that I could of relisted by just pressing relist

I tried to enter their site last night and could not get in. I tried again just minutes ago (Saturday, March24 at 2:47 PM, EST) and it appears that they are still down.

Whatever happened must have been major??

We had a look in the ebay answer forum.

It seems that many people are having lots of different problems and chaos is what we can see that is happening to a huge amount of members.

It looks like we have a better hook up than most people at the minute but we are double checking everything.

The melt down is being blamed on so many people listing on a free listing time.

It is really scary to just see how fragile the whole online world truly is.

We have 3 sold items that we can not invoice because they do not exist. Our unsold area is now totally gone.

I am so glad that I checked very item I relisted to see if it had sold or not. We also used our email conformations to put our buyers orders together. As the sold area is wrong as well.

In the next week or so I can see a lot of angry buyers paying out on seller that have relisted sold items and have not invoiced or mailed sold items.

Looks like the dust has settled for ebay!

Lost all of my unsold section so no easy relists.

Still have 3 sold missing so I can not invoice them but have sent the stamps to the winners.

The big change that I have noticed is the image size of the stamp when the customer opens up the listing is heaps smaller. The detail is just not the same. Some of the flaws on the 1d red KGVs can not be seen clearly.

That is life. KGV

KGV: You can host your own photos as well as attached the photo to the description through the html code. The latter will definitely prevent ebay from shrinking your image. ebay just needs to make listings free to prevent these massive rushes.

KGV can you contact the buyers and just explain briefly what has happened and to tell you what the items were? I'm sure it's just not that easy but may go a long way in the customer service department? The best of luck to you friend. That's why I avoid ebay like the plague! (unless I'm buying that is.)

Sorry to hear KGV that eBays' problems are causing you problems as well. Hopefully, you can remedy them quickly.
