Laugh all you want. Semen is actually a very popular Ukrainian mail first name. It's pronounced with short e sounds. |

I am working on 2013 stamps. I'm pretty sure I am going to release part 1 and part 2, with part 1 covering January-June and part 2 is July-December and definitives. I'm looking for someone to proofread what I have so far for part 1 and tell me how the layout is. I HAVE NOT hyphenated the text boxes, so ignore any glaringly large white spaces. The PDF is here: http://ubuntuone.com/2meMVczDP6QER5ptgyq8Dt |

OK, the 1923 Famine Relief Semi-Postal pages are pretty much done. Just waiting on permission from the man I shamelessly stole the descriptions from to allow me to use them before I go live with them. |

The problem that I see right away is the imperforate singles. Scott and other catalogues list them as pairs not singles because imperforate singles can be cut from perforated stamps.
It is my opinion that the page should be redone. |

I don't collect pairs of anything, even imperfs.
I can make a page with imperf pairs easily enough, I guess. |

All of the boxes on all of the semi-postal stamps are too tall A mount to fit a 39mm tall stamp (Scott 39) has a mount that us about 44mm tall Your boxes are at least 46mm tall. Unless your goal is to show the frame line completely around the mount.

Would B1a and B3a look better if aligned vertically?
Another dilemma… What if your imperf pairs are vertical instead of horizontal? |

Quote: Unless your goal is to show the frame line completely around the mount. It is. All the other pages do this. Sounds like I need to make the boxes wider. Quote: Would B1a and B3a look better if aligned vertically? Probably. I will get to that. |

Quote: Another dilemma… What if your imperf pairs are vertical instead of horizontal? When someone with a ventricle pair contacts me with an exact mount size, I will work on it. |
