3 years ago I bought a box of 100 pairs on eBay for $65.00 including shipping.
Now the pricing on eBay would be 10 times that much.
Anyone know of a low cost source of these binder sheet lifters?

I've seen the ones on Amazon but they're almost 3 time whay I've paid for them in the past.

I'll probably go with:

Avery makes these. Item number 75225. I trust that theirs are probably pretty risk free, as far as that goes. Can cheaper versions be made of a material that can cause issues, or is this category of plastics pretty risk free, generally speaking?

I use them on Vario pages. I've never done it, but I'd be nervous using these on unprotected pages with hinged stamps, or even mounts. If you have a cover sheet inside the binder, I guess that wouldn't be a concern.

Evey album I own has two 110 lb cardstock pages in the front and two in the back to protect my stamps from any sheet lifter damage.

We're in an era of major inflation. Everything is going to cost more.

If you really want to get depressed, go through your shopping history and compare what you paid for something vs what it costs now. Everything is at least 25% higher. Some stuff is 100% higher.

Just an idea. Check your local library. They continiously throw out older journal books and minutes since the rush to digitization. And many contain page lifters as well as binders themselves. Its economical and recycling all wrapped in one.

Also since they are made of plastic, I wonder if anyone had access to use a 3d printer? And maybe buy a couple spools of material and make your own.
