Paraguay issued a lot of big sets during the late 1960's and early 1970's that Scott did not recognize. They didn't appear in their International albums nor in contemporary Scott catalogs. I have a set of 1972 catalogs and these were not listed there, though the stamps were issued between 1967 and 1969. Somewhere, in time, Scott must have relented because they are in my 2005 catalogs but valued only as complete sets ranging from six to sixteen dollars per set. Can someone give me more recent values for these? Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you very much, Tom. Will have to price them accordingly.
FYI... 8 went down between 25 cents and 2 dollars... two went up 75 cents and one dollar... 2 stayed the same.
Also, can you give me the current CV on Lebanon C149a the UPU souvenir sheet, mint? My cat says $22.50 though I've seen a CV of $150 mentioned. |

Thanks again, Tom. Don't know where that $150 came from unless the guy has a 2009 and the weak dollar has taken its toll. Will have to ask. |

Tom, just received word from the seller that the Scott 2009 CV on the Lebanon C149a mint has jumped up to $75.00. He was offering two copies, that's why the $150 was quoted. Also said that if on thin cardboard the CV is $250 each. From $22.50 for a number of years to $75.00 is a pretty nice jump. Better than 3X. But will they sell and at what price? |

Jeez' Mod.......
That's one heck of a jump......Like everything else in a few months after collectors get used to the new values, seeing something listed at 50-60 % will seem like a decent price....but it's still almost 3x current values.
Sure makes me curious to see the 09 Scott set. If something like that has risen that much.....what's happened to the values of some of the better items ?

Mod.....
Mine was over $400. but I ordered the US Specialized and the valuing suppliment with it.....$300., for just 1-6 seems like a pretty good deal. You might be able to find it for a little less but watch out for the shipping charges. I've seen a few charging up to $10-12 per book.
I had hoped to get a few years out of my 08 but if values have really skyrocketed accross the board like I've been hearing, It might be best to start planning to up date soon.
