Guatemala C-273 depicts the Ceiba tree the National Tree of Guatemala by decree of March 8 1955. the Ceiba was considered a sacred symbol in Mayan mythology as its branches extend in all 4 cardinal points .They believed that because of its size it was a link between the upper and lower worlds and the cradle of the Quetzal !
