NewsWire article about Air Canada's 75th anniversary celebration:
http://www.newswire.ca/en/story/931...er-in-canada

Quote from article:

Quote:
The release of a series of Canada Post Picture Postage™ stamps. Air Canada has commissioned five stamps featuring different aircraft from its fleet over the past 75 years. Aircraft included in the series are the: Douglas DC-3, 1947; Vickers Vanguard, 1961; Boeing 747-100, 1971; Airbus 340-541, 1999; and Boeing 777-300 ER, 2007. These collectors' stamps will be available for purchase at www.aircanada.com in the near future.

Air Canada site where large photo of the stamp designs unveiling is:
(It seems you have to sign up to Air Canada's pages to link to them properly. And so far I can't post the photo or a cropped version of it here either.)

To get to the photo
click the above shortened link (in the news release quote),
scroll down to bottom,
click Site Map,
scroll down to About Air Canada,
click Media Centre,
then click Facts & Photos,
then click Photos & Logos,
then click Air Canada Celebrates 75th Anniversary,
scroll down past the nice photos of the 787 Dreamliner to the pic of the guy grinning at you,
Congratulations, you've arrived at the photo!

The www link provided earlier is correct EXCEPT that the spelling for "unveiling" is wrong on the Air Canada end.
The (in)correct link is:

Just happened to check again and voila, there they all are now in the eBaoutique at Air Canada site (all 5 stamp sheets of 21 stamps plus a keepsake enlarged photo).

Go to the eBoutique and then to the Merchandise link and then to the 75th Anniversary link.

Oh, goody, they let me upload the photo. Cool looking stamps in the Scott #2064 Photo Album style of framing. Here are the other four stamp sheets available (priced at CAD $25.00 per sheet of 21 stamps and photo plus applicable taxes).

All photos courtesy of Air Canada's eBoutique web site.

Link to the 75th Anniversary eBoutique page (and it works).
(I like the 777-300 ER (extended Range I bet you with extra fuel tanks))

The date of printing looks to be 06 2011 on the sheets used for the photos anyway (all photos have same date).

Just checked ebay, none there yet under the search terms I used anyway.

Now that the Air Canada Sheets have arrived, here are scans of the inscriptions, for the record.

Date master sheet was printed, 09 2011.

Printers inscription.

Bar code and customer order number.

Solo stamp in keepsake pane with block tagging. The rest of the stamps have tagging over the die cutting.

Soon the sheets will be sub-divided, I almost hate to do it :(

Great photos Bee See. Thanks.

Cool variant for collectors to look for on that block tagging. Not many of these around I imagine, for any stamp printed on a keepsake sheet format.

I have all five since issued some day in July 2012.

The copyright date is 09 2011.

There is a hidden 2004 in yellow in the upper left corner of the stamp.

It is not listed in Unitrade.

Blackjag, do you have any idea if they are still available for purchase. I would love to get the Transcanada DC-3 one to go with my Edmonton 1954 Air Canada crash covers.
