Anyone get the Transitional S/S of the year of Pig 2019 ? I have called this morning Canada Post and told me that is sold out already... what ?
I get 2 of these this morning on another post office but why there are "rare" and sold out already... ?

I think that is normal, Master Sgt. I believe this series is very popular on the west coast. There will be plenty available in the post offices in the rest of Canda.

I got an offer from Mystic Stamp Co. to acquire the US 2019 Year of the Boar stamp or sheet just today. It seemed odd since it was just issued. Is it possible that someone has 'cornered the market' on this issue and will be using it to attract new customers?

Rare, cornering the market? NO, this issue from Canada Post was available since Jan 18, 2019 and there were thousands available. Very popular with Chinese Canadians and others collecting this series as noted by sak. Should still be some available at some offices. Just ask them to check and have them transferred.
