On April 30, 2012.
First class mail goes from 46p to 90p 60p.
2nd class from 36p - 50p.

That would be approximately (0.60 x 1.6 exchange rate) = $0.96 US or Canadian (roughly) to mail a letter first class. Plus whatever taxes you pay.

It's bad but it's not that bad! First class is now 60p.

I gave Royal mail more than they deserved.

That increase (90p) is probably not til next month!
