This cover was in a 30 pound box of U.S. covers I repatriated from Canada..nothing rare..just another one that got by the postal service !

Interesting usage. Does that raise this label from the level of cinderella, since it's been used a postage?

You know this might make an interesting thread thematic. Mail that's gone through the system using none postal labels. Let's see where that goes.

Here's a cover I recently showed using a Canadian excise stamp.

I was not quite sure which topic to post this cover under..Theres a fellow who writes articles in the American Philatelist that collects just this type of material...to me its just an oddity !
