This is a slideshow of my WWII collection. I plan to scan each page later but for now it's just pictures. This is 90% of my stamps. There are a few covers but not too many. I will do a slideshow of my 200 plus covers later. Hope you like this.

Hi

Interesting collection.

Can you slow down the rate at which the "slides" are displayed?

in the top right corner there is an option button. You can slow it down it there. Thank you for the responses to this. I appreciate it very much.

Awesome collection! I was thinking about how pristine all that stuff is and how it has survived all this time unscathed considering the climate of the world then, at war and very well displayed too- Gorgeous.

I was thinking that earlier also. The amount of miles it's traveled over the years. How many people have had this stamp before me. How many people will have it after I'm gone.

Do you have Danzig in your collection as I consider it and the Saar part of my WW2 collection? I conider them part of the collection because they became part of the German war machine. One more questrion for you: Were Azad Hind stamps ever actually used or are Cinderellas for the expected takeover of India? You have a beautiful WW2 collection and I hope you continue to add to it.

Amazing collection. I was really surprized to see what I assume are memorial stamps for Reinhardt Heydrich, SS commander in Czechsolvakia who was assassinated by British trained commandos. That's the first I'd even seen that series. Never did a person deserve more to die than Heydrich.

Sharksfan I love the look of these pages - as an aside - I saw some reference tags on one page and not others. Do yo plan to tag all the items or do you feel it detracts from the look. If you don't tag them, do you have any other way to track what the various items are for catalog number or value?

They never were used in India. Purely propaganda labels.

@William..... I don't have any Danzig stamps or sheets. I just never got into that area.

@Scouter..... I only put Labels on some of the albums that are more organized. As the collection get put into more permanent spots I will put more labels.

@lpmiller..... I agree about Heydrich. As far as the stamp goes it is one of my favorites.
