I use White Ace albums to house my U.S. collection. I'd like to be able to create custom pages that match my pre-printed White Ace pages. Washington Press sells blank pages with the pre-printed header/footers but I haven't been able to find any album generation software that will create the White Ace triple lined stamp boxes with the lines crossing over one another every so often.
Has anyone found a way to create White Ace stamp boxes? If so, I'd love to hear how to do it.
I doubt you'll find a program that has that exact border. However, if you have a scanner and photo editing software it would be fairly simple to create your own boxes in various sizes that could be inserted as photos into whatever software you're using to design your pages.
I can demonstrate, but I'd need a hi-res scan of the border and the dimensions of the more common sizes you would need.
Eric99, the reason no one would offer such a solution is that the box design you mentioned is likely copyrighted. So a 3rd party would not be able to reproduce it without the permission of White Ace folks. And they are not likely inclined to license the design...
Now if you decide to make your own pages by scanning the box and reprinting it, keep in mind you would not be able to sell the album pages (say as an investment sale) as you would then be violating the copyright.
I think Postmaster has your solution Eric. Scan the boxes yourself and place them on your new pages. As long as these are for your own use, you will have no concerns regarding copyright.
