Early sugar mill and Lloyds of London coat of arms, British Commonwealth common design stamp, printed by lithography, and issued by Barbados on October 18, 1988 as one of a set of four stamps commemorating the 300th anniversary of the venerable insurance exchange, Scott No. 732.

With The Netherlands being synonymous with windmills, it will come as no surprise that Joh. Enschede, stamp printers from Haarlem, have used windmills to promote their printing capabilities using dummy stamps.

I share what I have here.

You have a very nice windmill collection. Thanks for showing. The France souvenir sheet "Les Moulins" is beautiful. All these windmills bring me back to 1984 when I visit the Netherlands and stop by Kinderdijk where there is so many of them.

@Timbres667,

with about 160 stamps that collection is not to large, and I'm about half way. Recently we had the occasion to visit Kinderdijk to show it to niece of my wife, a really impressive place with those 19 mills, most of them inhabited. I really should have taken some pics for showing here, but I forgot the camera.

Ok, this image is from the web, but I felt it was time for something a little more modern.
