I'd really like to collect a topic close to my heart, Human Anatomy.

Here are my first stamps on the topic, what have you got in your collection?

Hello, Pascoe, Definitely a fascinating topic and there is plenty to choose from! The threads with skeletons, hearts, medicine, hands and even feet are just a few examples of where you can look to get an idea of what there is. Of course many paintings might also be seen from an anatomical perspective. Have you already decided on what your central topic will be? Here another famous anatomist! 1964.

Andreas Vesalius (1514–1564)

A pioneering Renaissance physician, Andreas Vesalius transformed both biological science and medical practice through his meticulous exploration of human anatomy. Grounding his insights in firsthand dissections, he challenged centuries of accepted dogma and authored the first comprehensive anatomical textbook, De Humani Corporis Fabrica Libri Septem (On the Fabric of the Human Body in Seven Books). This groundbreaking work, which he also illustrated himself, laid the foundation for modern human anatomy and remains one of the most influential texts in the history of medicine.

Ohh, zomir, how do you find all those lovely old threads?

Here is another stamp shows Vesalius issued in Hungary in 1987.
