Stumbled across a site which give an in depth study of stamps from the early Australian state of Victoria. Shades, forgeries and retouches are all documented with pictures and notes.
The stamps can be viewed by clicking on the 'Postage Stamp' link on the left. This is really a remarkable site. Apologies if someone has already mentioned this site.
