Queechy Vermont 10/04/2008

For years my friend Joe from the stamp club has been going up to a stamp show in Queechy Vermont..he and his wife would make a weekend trip out of it..this year his wife is not going so Joe offered to take my wife and I along for a one day trip...we plan to go..otherwise we would have probably gone to the White Plains show next weekend or even the Mega Event later in the month in Manhatten. will give a recap of the show next week !!

What a wonderful day..a ride up through the Green mountains of Vermont to a cozy stamp show...about 20 dealers..the only complaint I could possibly make was that I would have liked some foreign cover stamp dealers there...however I found enough on many different topics of interest and some things that might appeal to some of my friends on the forum..its a 3 1/2 hour ride each way and with meals and travel it was not an inexpensive day...but who cares..it was a lot of fun !! |

oh man sorry I didn't make it. It was just a little too far to drive for me (being worn out from commuting into Cambridge all week). glad you had a lot of fun philb! congrats on becoming a triple pillar too! |
