Autumn Stampex, London, 2012. Last Call ! Hurry !

I have just confirmed my Flights for a trip to the UK in September. As is usual for me, philatelic 'happenings' were high on the agenda when planning the trip and the big one in September is the National Stamp Exhibition, STAMPEX !

My time is very flexible as I hope to be in London for the duration of the show so any British-based members [or those non-Brits who may be travelling] who wish to meet up for a SCF MEETING just join in this thread between now and September and let's make a nice and unique event !

For those unable to get to Stampex, I will be taking in a number of other Philatelic events and will start a new thread about those in due course. I will be in the UK from September 11th-October 1st and look forward to meeting some old and new faces.

MARK THE DATES IN YOUR DIARY-SEPTEMBER 26TH-29TH !

It was a tough time but the stamps will always help.....and the thought of going to an Exhibition, nothing, not even Paypal can dampen that thought.

Just a little BUMP to any Brits or travellers wishing to meet up for STAMPEX 2012in London, end of September.

In addition to Stampex I will be going to the excellent Strand Stamp Fair in London on September 12th.

Plus.......Mark's Tey, Colchester on the 15th.

Plus.......The Charing Cross Stamp Market on one of the Saturdays in September, most likely the last day of Stampex ! [Two events in one day ! ]

Anyone wishing to meet up and have some Philatelic fun, just holler.

Which would be the best day to visit? Does the 1st day get overly crowded for example, or are there usually some sort of giveaways for being there early etc?

I believe Drew and I were there on the first day in 2009 and although there was a queue, it was no big deal.
Once inside, it's usually OK.
Even the Saturday should be good.




Never mind Stampgal.....even by yourself it will still be fun. If I was in the UK at that time, I'd love to make the trip up.
